Hey there, I’m Ed—the 70s/80s disco DJ who spun the decks at legendary Baltimore spots like Girards (our own Studio 54 vibe), The Acropolis in Fells Point, and Disco Palace in Columbia back in the late 70s and early 80s. Those were the golden days of disco fever: packed dance floors under glittering lights, bell-bottoms swaying to the beat, big hair, and vinyl grooves that never stopped. I honed my craft by reading every crowd, building unstoppable sets, and keeping the party alive with that authentic analog magic—a hallmark that still defines my DJ services today.
Fast-forward to now: I’m reviving that old-school fire for a new generation. With real turntables delivering that warm, crackling vinyl sound, killer 70s/80s playlists (Donna Summer, Bee Gees, Chic, Blondie, Prince, and beyond), and just enough modern tech for seamless mixes, my events transport you straight back to those classic club nights.
My heart is in real old-school disco, but the early 80s new wave and dance rock hold a special place too—think New Order, Simple Minds, B-52’s, and other tracks that instantly bring the era rushing back. I spin mostly vinyl for that analog feel, but I blend in select newer favorites via my Mac laptop when it fits the vibe. I’ve even been known to drop a few 60s pop or Motown gems to keep things fresh.
Of course, I’m happy to take special requests for your event—but my specialty is delivering that signature 70s/80s sound that gets everyone moving. Based in Dothan, Alabama, I'm available for gigs locally and willing to travel up to 200 miles (covering spots from the Gulf Coast beaches and Tallahassee to Montgomery, Columbus, and beyond). Let’s recreate the magic together—whether it’s a wedding, reunion, corporate party, or just a night to feel young again. Drop me a line and let's get the party started!
